AsherCharts ("we", "us") provides web-based charting and embeddable-chart tools. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your choices. It applies to ashercharts.com and the AsherCharts application.

2. Information we collect

Account data — your email address and an encrypted password when you register.
Subscription & billing data — plan and status; if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by our payment processor, and we do not store your full card details.
Usage & product data — your saved chart layouts, drawings, alerts and preferences, stored so you can pick up where you left off.
Technical data — basic log information (such as IP address, browser type and timestamps) needed to operate, secure and debug the Service.

3. How we use your information

To provide, maintain and improve the Service and your saved workspace.
To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
To process subscriptions and send service-related communications.
To detect, prevent and address abuse, fraud or technical issues.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage for essential functions such as keeping you signed in and remembering your theme and layout preferences. You can clear these via your browser, but doing so will sign you out and reset preferences.

5. Service providers

We share limited data with trusted providers who help us run the Service — for example, cloud hosting, authentication/database, and payment processing. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements and only as needed to deliver their service.

We keep your account and product data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as financial records).

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
